progeCAD and AutoCAD Forum • Re: breakline option in progicad seems to have a bug in it.

Hi CadditSorry if I sounded sarcastic in my last response, that certainly was not my intention. It's just that I was looking forward to the fix and got a bit disappointed.Since you explained it like this, I'll just be patient and bide my time. Meanwhile I'll just do it manually, no drama. As for "the bit of code' comment, I apologize, as I used to be a programmer and there's no such thing as a simple bit of code...Thanks for your replyStatistics: Posted by ferdiedr — Tue Aug 15, 2017 8:53 am

progeCAD and AutoCAD Forum • Re: breakline option in progicad seems to have a bug in it.

Hi ferdiedr,Not sure how "a patch later this year most likely" became a "promise" to address the issue immediately in 18.0.4.14. Also, we don't have details here to confirm that a fix is merely "a bit of code", in LISP, etc. Our understanding is that the latest update was mainly to include the newly released compatibility with AutoCAD DWG 2018 file format. In all likelihood, we will have several more updates to 2018 release this year. What we can say is that patches are issued based on numerous factors, including the level of interest shown by users as a whole group. With tens of thousands of users already at 2018, we are sure the development team is aware of the proper priority of each issue. As stated before, the ticket was verified so time has already been spent to log it into the system. With that we would expect, as before, "a patch later this year most likely". This isn't a promise, it's a rough assessment Hope that clarifies.Statistics: Posted by caddit — Tue Aug 15, 2017 3:56 am

Hi,I just updated from 18.0.4.6 to 18.0.4.14, hoping that the fix you promised would have been done.Disappointingly, it hasn't. Surely it can't be that hard to fix a bit of code (in lisp I presume)?Statistics: Posted by ferdiedr — Mon Aug 14, 2017 5:47 am

progeCAD and AutoCAD Forum • Re: Custom button Command question

HelloIn Progecad2014 it goes like this:1. You need a lisp program for loading your application. It is named as MyAppLoad.lsp. Your app is named as MyApp. You can change the name and location.---(setvar "cmdecho" 0)(command "-vbaload" "C:\\MyApp\\MyApp.vbi")(setvar "cmdecho" 1)(princ"\nAppLoaded!\n")(princ)---2. then you need a menu file for the button. Save and name it MyApp.mnu---***MENUGROUP=MyApp ***TOOLBARS **MyApp ID_toolbar_name [_Toolbar ("MyApp", floating, show, 200, 200, 1)] ID_button_name [_Button ("MyApp", MyApp_button, MyApp_button)]^C^C(load"MyAppLoad");^C^C^C-vbarun;"MyApp"; ***HELPSTRINGS ID_button_name ["MyApp Start"]---3. And you need a button picture file (bmp). You can draw it with Paint or similar. The size is 16x16 pixels. Name it MyApp_button.bmp.4. SetupTools->Customize->Menu and Toolbars. Import *.mnu file. Select Append to existing toolbars. Find MyApp.mnu.Then lisp-file. Tools->Load lisp or SDS Application. Add File. Find MyAppLoad.lsp. Load.5. Now you should find your button on the screen. You can drag it to the toolbar area. In PC2017 there is a different way to build buttons. 6. if you need a menu file (icm) here it is:---[IntelliCAD Custom Menu File]nMenuItems=2[MnuItem-1000]Name=MyAppVisibility=12[MnuItem-1001]Name=MyAppCommand=^C^C(load"MyAppLoad");^C^C^C-vbarun;"MyApp";Visibility=12SubLevel=1---Name it MyApp_menu.icm. Import it Tools->Customize->Menu, Import, remember appendStatistics: Posted by jouni — Fri Aug 04, 2017 6:22 am

progeCAD and AutoCAD Forum • Custom button Command question

Hi caddit,I'm trying to create a custom button that runs a VBA program I've written, but I only got as far as opening the 'Run progeCad VBA Macro' menu (^C^C^C_vbarun).From there I've got to select 'Macros in: CommonProjects' and then select the macro 'Module1.main'.Is there a button command that could go directly to the Module1.main?Even if there isn't, I'd appreciate a reply telling me there's not. Thanks in advanceStatistics: Posted by ferdiedr — Wed Jul 19, 2017 7:54 am
